Art, Books & Creativity I was part of the Arlington schools team who helped the National Museum of Women in the Arts develop the ABC curriculum in partnership with the Albuquerque Public Schools (NM), the Arlington Public Schools (VA), and the Albuquerque Museum of Art (NM). My 3rd grade students' work will be on view again in Spring 2009 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

The AIA Northern Virginia Architecture in the Schools Program In Spring 2008 my 2nd grade students studied the past, present and future of Egypt in art class and with their classroom teachers Jevonna Willis and Heidi Smith, Project Edison Coordinator Barbara Papantoniou and architect volunteer, Margaret Rast from Rast Architectural Studio, Inc. My students will be participating in a similar project in Spring 2009 based on the theme of China.

Arlington Arts Center - Summer Art Courses for Children In the past, I have taught art courses for children ages 4-6 and 7-10 during the Summer Session at the Arlington Arts Center in Arlington, VA.
